Dr. Jorge A. Salazar is a seasoned theologian, author, and pastor with over two decades of experience in church planting and global leadership development. Driven by a deep passion for biblical literacy and the local church, Dr. Salazar serves as the School of Ministry Director at Central Community Church in British Columbia, Canada, where he equips everyday believers with robust theological and practical ministry training. His ministry extends far beyond the local classroom. In partnership with WorldServe Ministries, Dr. Salazar travels globally to train, mentor, and resource indigenous pastors and Christian leaders, particularly in regions where formal theological education is difficult to access. A gifted communicator and educator, he is also the author of Why the Bible?: How to Know if It’s Really the Word of God and a frequent contributor to global discipleship networks like RightNow Media, where he hosts several specialized video series in both English and Spanish. Dr. Salazar holds a PhD in Systematic Theology, having completed his theological studies across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Whether training a global cohort of remote church planters or teaching local students to study Scripture deeply, his ultimate mission is to serve and equip others to build healthy, disciple-making churches that glorify Christ and impact society. Jorge and his wife, Aimeé, are blessed with three children and reside in British Columbia.
